Description:

This course module illustrates the steps in creating quality silage, focusing on the fermentation process and the phases of fermentation. It also identifies management practices that go into making good/poor silage and how to avoid common pitfalls. An interactive silage "computer" will estimate forage quality based upon user inputs as part of this course.
